Rachel Atkinson
Rachel is passionate about helping people to discover more of who God intended them to be. She holds two degrees in Biblical Studies from Sheffield University and is currently working towards a Doctorate of Ministry (DMin) in the area of spirituality and mission. Following her undergraduate studies Rachel worked as a schools worker associated with Scripture Union, before joining the staff team at St. Andrew’s Church in Chorleywood. From 2002 - 2007 Rachel was tutor in mission and evangelism at Spurgeon’s College, where she continues as an associate lecturer. Rachel teaches in a variety of settings and is also part of the leadership team of her local church in Peckham. She is married to Phil, and together they enjoy sharing good food with good friends.
  
Mike Sherwood
Mike is the Senior Minister of the Elim Pentecostal Church Chelmsford, member of Elim's National Leadership Team, mentor and author of Elim's Emerging Leaders Programme. Mike has been in ministry for forty years and has wisdom and a great ability to teach and connect with people of all ages. He has a prophetic edge which is evident when ministering and mentoring. He has travelled and taught widely, loves sport, is married to Elisabeth, has two sons, loves coffee and fun.
  
Ian Stackhouse
Ian Stackhouse has been the Senior Pastor of Guildford Baptist Church since April 2004, having formerly served in that role at the King's Church Amersham. He has thus far authored the first book in the 'Deep Church' series entitled 'The Gospel-Driven Church', and contributed to the second: 'Remembering our Future: Explorations in Deep Church'. In both these books, and in various pastors' conferences, Ian is seeking to develop a deep ecclesiology that takes seriously the task of spiritual formation alongside the more familiar evangelical themes of mission and transformation. His next book to be published in the spring of 2008 is entitled 'The Day is Yours: A Primer on Living a Day Well'. He is married to Susanna and they have four boys, all keen Burnley FC fans!
  
Phil Atkinson
Phil is a Consultant in Public Health, with 14 years experience of working for the NHS. He has a background in applied research, with a doctorate in Spatial Epidemiology from the University of London, and is currently undertaking a courses in theology. Phil has been involved in leadership, discipleship and mentoring for many years in a range of London churches, including Holy Trinity Brompton, Christ Church Fulham and All Saints Peckham. He has a strong interest in both prayer ministry and prayer counselling. He has explored a range of Christian spiritualities, from the contemplative to the charismatic, and come to appreciate how they can help draw us closer to God. Phil is passionate about good food, sailing and spending time with his wife - not necessarily in that order!
  
Sheila Thomas
Sheila Thomas has an MA in Christian Spirituality from Heythrop College which is part of the University of London. She is also a trained Spiritual Director and works part time as a Development Project Manager in Social Housing. Her passion is in encouraging people to develop their friendship with God and to come to know themselves better through prayer. Having had her own walk with God enriched through the practice of contemplative prayer, she loves to introduce this discipline to Christians for whom this is new. In addition to practicing as a Spiritual Director she teaches in spirituality and leads small groups in listening to and responding to God.
  
Adam Baron
Adam is a Resident Director at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. As a mentor and community organizer, he works with a thoughtful heart and keen mind to help build the church and improve society worldwide developing university student leaders. He has also served young adults at several American universities as an adjunct lecturer, leadership trainer, and inspirational voice around themes related to social justice and student activism. He holds two degrees in Theology/ Biblical Studies and Educational Ministries from Wheaton College and a Masters of Divinity at Pepperdine. He is a certified Strengths Coach with the Gallup Organization, and has worked for a number of UK charities including Oak Hall, Alpha International, Holy Trinity Brompton, and Capernwray Bible Schools. His sharp aptitude as a consummate networker enables him to passionately bridge Formation themes with relationships in higher education, mission, and emerging culture.
  
Mark Powley
Mark Powley is an Associate Pastor at St Paul's Hammersmith. He is passionately concerned with 21st Century discipleship and seeks to encourage young leaders to grow in faith and confidence. He is the author of 4Life, a one-to-one discipleship guide (Cell UK, 2006) and a founding friend of Breathe, a Christian network for simpler living. Mark is married to Alisa, and has three young sons. He loves football, music and movies.
  
Ashley Meany
Ashley is an associate pastor at St Paul’s Hammersmith. It was while living a colourful life as a model in the fashion industry in Paris that he had a conversion experience to the Christian faith. He went on to work in retail management and then a children’s HIV charity before training for ordained ministry at Ridley Hall, Cambridge. During this time he has been involved in leadership, discipleship and pastoral care in two church plants in central London. He is passionate in working towards an authentic urban spirituality that combines the contemplative and charismatic traditions. Ashley is married to Sibs and they have three children, Sam, Julia and Talia. He dreams of surfing big waves and spending time in the Egyptian desert.
