Mentoring

Mentoring provides motivation and inspiration, and helps you find ways to deal with immediate challenges whilst affirming and developing you on your journey through life.

We all need mentors. Mentoring within Formation is to do with knowing who we are, who God is and how our lives are put together so we flourish in the everyday. To enable the flourishing we need people who engage our lives, listen to what is taking place and respond with wisdom and integrity.

Mentoring is a significant part of the work and vision of Formation and is available to individuals or through a church or organisational relationship. Each mentor has their own style and approach but all Formation mentors focus on life in the everyday and your walk with God.

Formation also provides a two-day six-session training course for those wishing to become mentors. The course is designed for church leaders, leadership teams and anyone who is involved in developing and shaping lives.
